The sixth printed issue of Highsnobiety magazine is out! The 180-page strong magazine was realeased during last week’s Berlin fashion week and can be found at stores, galleries, and events around the world now – of course, SOTO is one of them!
The cover story is about Adam Mediano and Mercedes Maxwell – the stars of Larry Clark’s latest film ‘Marfa Girl‘. They were both are photographed and paired against an interview with the American filmmaker and photographer. Within that, Clark discusses the inspiration behind his newest film.
For this all new Spring/Summer 2013 issue, plenty of photo productions are included like the series by Yves Borgwardt who traveled to Thailand to capture the Hawaiian shirt in its proper environment, Kimi Hammerstroem who returns to this issue with a colorful spread starring model Mimi Wade and one with Boys Noize in Montreal for a Nike Air Force 1 editorial.
Other great stories inside this issue: “Most Influential Designers of the Last Decade” – with a collage made of discarded fashion magazines by Fritz Radtke, one of Highsnob’s editors, Behind-the-scenes looks at the German watch customizer Blaken and the English traditional brand Barbour, interviews with J. Lindeberg on his brand BLK DNM and Lanvin’s designer Lucas Ossendrijver on the current state of menswear and a story about the history of camouflage.
